Rodney Brinkley

Captain Brinkley is currently the Commander of the Uniform Division, where he is charged with the day-to-day patrol and enforcement activities for the Doraville Police Department. Captain Brinkley’s tenure in law enforcement spans 32 years of service with the Atlanta Police and Doraville Police Departments. He is a graduate of the University of Phoenix, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. Captain Brinkley is also a graduate of the 40th class of the Georgia Command College at Columbus State University, where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. In addition, Captain Brinkley is a graduate of the prestigious F.B.I. National Academy, Class #255.
