Open Records
The Georgia Open Records Act (O.C.G.A. §50-18-70 through §50-18-77) establishes the right of every citizen to inspect and receive a copy of all public records, except those specifically exempt from being open. When the City receives a record request under the Open Records Act, it must comply with guidelines established in the law:
Public Request
FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES ONLY:
Publicly employed law enforcement officers requesting records as part of a law enforcement investigation, please submit your request online by clicking below. If this request involves an employee background investigation, please make sure to include the applicant’s signed release form.

FOR ALL OTHER DEPARTMENTS/REQUESTS (including court dispositions, records regarding code enforcement, or any other information regarding City operations), please submit your request by phone at 770.451.8745, in person at the City Clerk’s Office located at 3725 Park Ave. Doraville, Georgia, or by submitting the online Public Records Request form below:
